Members of Mended Hearts and Mended Little Hearts are either living with a type of heart disease or are the caregiver of someone with heart disease. Our membership is 46% female and 54% male. Common procedures that our adult patients have received include:

  • Open-heart surgery – Coronary artery bypass graft
  • Open-heart surgery – Valve repair/replacement
  • Cardiac catheterization/Stent implanted
  • Heart attack (i.e., Myocardial infarction)

  • Single Ventricle Anomalies
  • Coarctation of the Aorta
